Overview

The Process Owner will use their knowledge of process, strategy, and technology to maximize productivity and
communication within their department, as well as across the organization as part of the organization-wide Process Owner
team. They are responsible for streamlining and documenting business processes and acting as a bridge to IT and other
departments in the organization. They identify problems and opportunities within their department and implement solutions
that help achieve the business' goals.

Responsibilities

Duties to include, (but not limited to):
• Analyze and document current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on
industry trends and professional business knowledge
• Improve training and operational procedures within their department to increase efficiency and productivity
• Work directly with employees at all levels of the organization to understand the individual needs of the business
• Create and present reports to executive team members and stakeholders to support recommendations
• Own Manufacturing/ Distribution related implementation projects
• Analyze and monitor implemented changes to business processes/systems and adjust as needed
• Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights
• Collaborate with other Process Owners and IT leadership
• Play a key role in technology projects and initiatives by leading requirements gathering, system selection, user
testing, data validation, training and setting priority on projects that compete with constrained shared resources.
• Create/define complex technical design specifications based on functional requirements and blueprint defined
future states.
• Guide and supervise personnel who were assigned specific tasks
• Collaborate and make formal presentations to others in IT as well as business stakeholders
• Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems

Qualifications

A Process Owner will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:
• Exercise independent motivation and judgment
• Perform analysis and solve problems
• Demonstrate excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Complete task efficiently while paying close attention to detail
• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Education / Experience:
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business management, computer information systems, or a related filed or
equivalent work experience
• At least two years' experience in business process management, business analysis or project management in a
related industry
• Ten years of progressive experience in Manufacturing/ Distribution
• Proficiency in project management software a plus
• Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Superb recordkeeping, time management, and organizational skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Demands / Physical Requirements:
• General office conditions with continuous sitting with heavy computer usage
• Occasional short-term out-of-town travel for projects or educational purposes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Reports to: Head of Distribution/ Head of Manufacturing
