A Field Service Technician will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:
- Support Customers by providing exceptional customer service.
- Possess and understand of all WSC products, and be willing and able to learn (self-educate) what is being offered by our competition within the same product category.
- Perform all duties with an eye for quality and complete customer satisfaction.
- Present a positive, proactive, cooperative attitude for all customers, including facility personnel, contractors, builders and homeowners.
- Maintain clean & organized work environment within company vehicle and/or warehouse space for service materials, as well as on jobsites when doing training or field repairs.
- Manage multiple demands while maintaining solid communication skills both verbally and electronically.
- Work independently while demonstrating leadership skills that portray excellent team work mentality.
- Possess a dynamic self-motivation and ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Possess the skills to work with power tools, high level math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
Education / Experience:
- Building/Handyman skill set (must have a good understanding and knowledge of the building trade, the materials that are used, and where, when, and how)
- High School Graduation
Working Demands / Physical Requirements:
- Possess physical requirements include driving long distances.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to bend, twist, and to work on feet for several hours.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Overnight travel will be needed when providing service to customers throughout the territory.
- The ability to think outside the box when “abnormal challenges” present themselves.
