SUMMARY:   As a member of the Distribution Lead Team, the Transportation Director ensures Wausau Supply Company’s fleet of vehicles and common carrier use are married together as a key component to providing outstanding customer servicing at the lowest cost and best value to customers we serve.  The Transportation Director oversees all company vehicles including commercial licensed vehicles regulated by the DOT, vehicles supporting operations, company passenger vehicles, sales support/service vehicles, operations lift trucks and other specialty vehicles with all company and regulated authorities’ specific requirements. The Transportation Director will own all programs and technology to include Driver Safety, Fleet Management, Driver Recruiting and Training Programs, ELDs, and Transportation Management System.  The Transportation Director will directly manage the company fleet domiciled at company locations, maintains and establish processes/procedures, source and assure cost effective ownership and manage the life cycle of each vehicle in partnership with management of each company location

The Industrial Engineer will drive continuous improvement throughout the end-to-end Supply Chain process at WSC by analyzing and streamlining business processes to maximize efficiencies and productivity with an effort to reduce costs. This position combines a strong foundation of ERP Systems and Processes with the end-to-end Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations knowledge to develop, improve, and the operations for WSC.

As an ambassador and front line contact to our customers; a Territory Manager (TM) will work with our clientele to educate, train and convert business. Present to Customers and Contractors/Builders. Achieve set company sales & growth goals while maintaining positive/profitable relations.

The Industrial Engineer will drive continuous improvement at WSC through the use and application of Lean mfg. methodologies to analyze and enhance manufacturing operations and productivity through the analysis of routings, bill of materials, processes, material flow, plant layout, methods, and product design with a focus on cost reduction and preventing waste and inefficiency in all processes. This position combines a strong foundation in manufacturing systems and processes, supply chain, quality, and operations management to develop, improve, and blueprint processes for WSC.

The Product Test Engineer will perform a variety of engineering activities at Waudena Entrance Systems, a business unit of WSC. The duties include but are not limited to product development, product testing, and codes and compliance certifications to enhance WSC’s competitiveness in the global arena. This position combines a strong foundation of product development, codes and compliance knowledge in fenestration business, and applied testing to new and existing building products.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager will lead and promote the facility’s Quality Program by systematically identifying quality gaps and implementing robust solutions to ensure Delivered Quality to our Customers. The individual will partner with the process owners to develop and implement procedures to ensure quality and consistency of the Waudena product. The Quality Manager proactively identifies risks, assesses the relevant controls, and executes on the necessary actions. This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Manager located in Wausau, Wisconsin. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures and systems, monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and leading quality improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
