Overview

Waudena Entrance Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Product Management team. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and launch of new products, product enhancements, and customer experience tools, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of product development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, engineers, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.

 

Data Analytics: Utilize various tools and techniques to collect, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources. Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track progress, measure success, and identify areas of concern.

 

Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and materials, to support project goals and meet project milestones.

 

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and minimize project disruptions.

 

Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or concerns that may arise.

 

Documentation: Keep detailed records of project plans, progress reports, and any relevant documentation to facilitate project tracking and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize product development workflows.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in project management, preferably in product development within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., OnePlan, Gantt charts, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Reports To: Director of Product Management

 

Working Demands / Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Occasional travel as needed.
