Production Manager is responsible for the day to day accountability of all areas of our facilities including the production of goods and service that is provided to our customers. It is the responsibility of the Production Manager to maintain positive relations with all internal levels of the organization as well as the customers that each location services.     Duties to include, (but not limited to): - MANAGEMENT OF STAFF (day to day activities): - Handle all scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing to accommodate work load / production lines including cross-training to ensure adequate back up for all positions to ensure efficiencies at all times, including peak season periods. - Identify staff talent and coach to develop employees to achieve next level of leaders for WSC. - Develop and maintain Kaizen teams to achieve improvements of processes and procedures to achieve continuous development. - Monitor and maintain time cards for staff and approve time cards at the end of each pay period. - Prepare and deliver annual performance review for staff. - Responsible for hiring, discipline, motivation, encouragement and training of new and existing staff. - Support and enforcement of all company policies. - Responsible to maintain good work environment for all employees. - MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCTION FACILITY/PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT - Responsible for Quality control for all products produced in house. - Responsible to ensure all manufacturing process and procedures are being practiced and followed. - Responsible to meet all finished lead times per Wausau Siding Systems standards. - Responsible for shipping and receiving ensuring proper inventory rotation. - Responsible for daily organization and cleanliness including all maintenance of facility & grounds in conjunction with Corporate Maintenance Department. - Coordination of efforts with Corporate Maintenance department in order to keep all production equipment running at optimum level. - MANAGEMENT OF ADMINISTRATION: - Prepare reports and handle projects as assigned by Sr. Management. - Maintain all TWL/SXE reports and make sure transactions are up to date. - Use all collected data, analyze and make changes or verify changes have been implanted for all areas of improvement including safety, quality control and productivity. - Approve bills in Max recall. - Develop annual budget. - Review of Financials to ensure profitability of location that manager is responsible for. - MANAGEMENT OF SAFETY: - Maintain compliancy of all of the OSHA regulations. - Maintain compliancy of all environmental regulations. - Responsible for all training of staff for safety programs. - Responsible for conducting Quarterly safety meetings.
